Ingredients
15-ouncecanlow-sodium chickpeas,drained and rinsed
¼cuptahini
¼ - ½cupwater
2Tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil
1lemon, juiced(~2 Tablespoons)
1-2small garlic cloves
1teaspoonground turmeric
¼teaspoonblack pepper
¼teaspoonground ginger
¼teaspoonkosher salt
Dashcayenne
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. Start with ¼ cup water, then increase until desired consistency.
Add salt to taste. Place in a serving bowl and top with garnishes to taste. Enjoy!
Notes
