This is one of our base recipes. Homemade granola is super easy; once you make it, you will never buy store bought again! Oats, nuts, oil, a little sweetener, & dried fruit is all it takes!

Ingredients
Base Recipe
2 Tablespoons - ¼ cupbrown sugar
¼cupcanola oil or nut butter
¼cupnatural liquid sweetener
½teaspoonkosher salt
3cupsold fashioned oats
2-3cupsraw nuts, seeds, or coconut
Additions to YOUR taste
½-2teaspoonsflavor extract
¼-1teaspoonspice(s)
1cupdried fruit
½cupdark chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 250° F.
In a large bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, oil, liquid sweetener, optional flavor extract and/or spice(s), and salt.
Add the oats and nuts to the bowl. Using a spatula, stir until well-combined.
Spread granola in an even layer on one or two baking sheets (depending on the size). Cook for 1 hour.
Remove from oven and stir. Once cool, add optional dried fruit and/or chocolate chips. Store in an airtight container. Enjoy!
Notes
Measure the brown sugar first; it needs to be measured in a clean cup, otherwise it will stick to the bottom. Then, measure the oil.
